Top real estate exec, Margaret Kelly, joins Realty ONE Group board of advisors

Laguna Niguel, Calif., May 14, 2019 – As the company continues to expand across the country and now internationally, Realty ONE Group is adding executives to its leadership and board. The latest addition is long-time real estate professional and former RE/MAX CEO, Margaret Kelly who was appointed to the Realty ONE Group Board of Advisors.

“Margaret clearly has the experience and wisdom to contribute to what we do every day but beyond that, she leads with foresight and ingenuity which is why we she’s perfect for this board,” said Realty ONE Group CEO and Founder, Kuba Jewgieniew. “We’re focused on changing the real estate industry and growing our exciting brand and Margaret will help us achieve our ambitious goals.”

Kelly attended her first meeting with the board this past Friday, May 10th at Realty ONE Group’s Laguna Niguel, Calif, headquarters office named the HUB. The primary charge for both Kelly and the board is to champion the strategic direction of the company, which has been named one of the fastest growing real estate franchisors in the U.S. 

“I’m excited for the chance to contribute to this industry that I have such a passion for, but this time I can do it in a very unique way,” said Kelly who still lives in Denver, Colo. “Both this Board and the Leadership team have such a vision for the future of this company but it’s their love for real estate agents and what they do every day that really excites me about being a member of the team.”

After spending 30 years working her way through the ranks at RE/MAX, Kelly was named CEO in 2004 and led the effort to take the company public. She’s also been appointed to several board of directors, including the Kansas City Federal Reserve Board – Denver branch and to the Board of Directors for the Daniel’s Fund. She’s been honored with numerous awards including the Susan G. Komen Ambassador Award and the Outstanding Women in Business Award by the Denver Business Journal. She was also named one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce in 2013.
